	The Phormula range of Knock Detection equipment is a real set forward for engine setup and protection.   The KS-3 monitors engine knock levels and can be configured to alert the driver via a visual and audible warning. The KS-3 can be used as a hand-held device or permanently mounted to the dashboard. The KS-3 is configurable for frequencies between 6 and 9 kHz. The system includes Wideband Knock Sensor, Sensor Plug, Shielded Signal Cable, Mounting Kit and Power Supply Cable. Knocking occurs when cylinder pressures become to great. There are many causes for this but the common ones are incorrect Air/Fuel Ratio, incorrect Ignition Timing or poor/low octane fuel. Knock is also known a detonation, pinking or pinging can cause sparkplug failure, head gasket or even a holed piston   Price Complete kit: £170 including P&P
